Week of Nov 24 – 30

Congrats to all of you that made it though the first 2 weeks of practice. Congrats to our football team for again making it to the championship game. We are excited to get you to practice. The schedule this week will be as follows:

Monday Practice at 3:00 – 5:00. For those that have not passed the Hydration test the test time will be at 6:30 at Pleasant Grove high school. Please come and see me ASAP or call me at 801-400-5932. 

Tuesday the bus will leave @ 3:15 for our Annual Battle of the Forks @ Spanish fork high School. The JV and Exhibition matches will start around 5:15 – 5:30 ish, then the Varsity will start at 7:00.

Wednesday We will have practice Wednesday morning at 7:00 – 9:00.

Thursday – Sunday Enjoy the family time, but also remember that our next dual is early next week. we will Not have practices as a team thursday – Sunday this week. Please make sure you are running and conditioning at least 3 of the 4 days during the break. I will list some recommended workouts and a camp option below:

Sprints: 10 X 100 yards rest about 1 minute between gos
Stairs: run up and down stadium at the football field (1 set = up/down all of the stairs all the way around the football field) Complete 3 sets
Pull ups: 3 X Max reps
Push ups: 3 x Max reps
Shadow wrestling: 3 x 2 minutes with ceiling on!!
Squat jumps: 3 x 15 reps
Live wrestling: 2 matches (2 minute periods x 3 periods)
