The boys varsity basketball team beat Pleasant Grove by 6 points in their first region contest.

Jace Chatman led the Cavemen with 20 points. Jaxon Kohler had 17 points and 9 rebounds. Yaw Reener had 13 points and 6 rebounds. Guards Evan Young and Ashton Wallace had 9 points each with 5 and 4 assists respectively.

The Cavemen will face Lone Peak and Skyridge in region battles next week.
