American Fork entered the state championship game with a 23-3 season record. Two of those 3 loses came at the hands of Region 4 rival Pleasant Grove. The Cavemen and Vikings both notched 3 victories this week to set up a rematch in the state championship game. This time, American Fork came out on top. American Fork’s first year Coach Ryan Cuff led the Cavemen to their first state title in 40 years.

Senior Tanner Cuff filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and was named the Deseret News Tournament MVP. Isaac Johnson (10 points , 7 rebounds) and Trey Stewart (18 points, 4 assists) made the All- Tournament Team.
